Nancy Ruffin, founder and Executive Director of The Fierce Woman Collective (TFW)™ , Healthy Living Series Holistic Speaker

Nancy A. Ruffin is a 4x award winning writer, podcast host and healthcare leader committed to empowering individuals to discover their purpose and live their best lives. She has authored and published four books and her essays and articles have been featured in various print/online publications and academic textbooks. As the host of the 2018 Tecla nominated weekly podcast, The Nancy Ruffin Show, Nancy uses her platform to inspire and empower individuals to live life on their own terms.

For over 20 years she has been a public servant for the city of New York, working her way up through the ranks at New York City Health + Hospitals where she currently serves as the Associate Director of Revenue Integrity. A proud Board Member of the 100 Hispanic Women, National and President of the New Jersey Program, Nancy is also the host of the weekly 100 Hispanic Women Instagram Live interview series, 100 Percent Unstoppable. A graduate of Bernard Baruch College, Nancy has a B.A. degree in Accounting and an MBA in Healthcare Management from The University of Phoenix.

Jamian C. Polk, Director, Global Financial Services, Microsoft

 Jamian C. Polk joined Microsoft in July 2018 and is a Director at Microsoft for their global financial services business unit for modern work.

 Polk brings more than 15 years of sales and engineering experience in digital marketing, cloud, SaaS, data analytics, data management, and enterprise technology sector. Before Microsoft, Polk has led sales teams at Sequoia Capital, and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) backed startups based in San Francisco and New York City. During his tour, Polk oversaw double digit year over year revenue growth while exceeding customer acquisition and retention targets. Polk also serves as an advisory council member for Gerson Lehrman Group providing business and industry perspectives and advice to private equity firms.

 Since 2017, Polk has been an angel investor in early stage to Series B FinTech, FemTech, FootTech, and film companies. He currently operates as a founding partner of an angel investing syndicate, 1921 Ventures, structured to provide access to capital and advisory to diverse founders with early-stage companies.

 Polk received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in computer information systems and international business from Appalachian State University and an international certificate of excellence from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

Dr. Victoria Rodriguez, LMSW, MPA, Psychotherapist, Be.Well Therapy, Business Strategist & Leadership Coach Consultant, Healthy Living Series Holistic Speaker

Dr. Victoria Rodriguez, LMSW, MPA is a New York-based psychotherapist, business strategist, and leadership coach focusing on building up individuals' mental health while helping them build the businesses of their dreams. As a psychotherapist, she specializes in working with patients experiencing confidence or identity issues, imposter syndrome, and life transitions. She uses her therapeutic skills and her training in strategic leadership to help women, most specifically WOC, advance in both their careers and their interpersonal relationships while at the same time developing a more compassionate relationship with themselves. She is the founder of Victoria R. Consulting, a business and leadership development consulting agency, which focuses on  building the businesses of female and WOC entrepreneurs. She is also an avid runner, RRCA Certified Coach, and marathoner.

Sean Stewart, CEO, Children’s Bible Fellowship of NY (CBF)

Sean grew up in Enid, Oklahoma, affectionately known as flyover country.   He married his high school sweetheart Daphne and they have been married for 34 years.  Sean and Daphne have three adult children, Taber, Jordan, and Kalie, a grandchild Neil and two girls on the way.. 

In the late 90’s Sean went to Oklahoma State University where he got an MS in Accounting and then became a CPA.  Out of school he went to work in the energy trading industry for the Koch brothers, from there he went to Duke Energy in Houston and then Salt Lake City

As the energy industry collapsed, he moved back to Houston for a year before taking a job at Morgan Stanley to be the controller of their oil trading division in NY. 

In 2012 Sean left the investment banking world to join the mission team at CBF as the COO and was eventually asked to be the CEO.  CBF’s mission is focused on inner city youth and special needs and is headquartered out of Carmel, NY. The mission sees its role as a resource to help the church reconnect the next generation and forgotten to real belonging in the body of Christ.
